I’m so excited to write my first “Fitness” category review. I decided to review the Bondi Band first. Mostly, because I think everyone who exercises and sweats a lot will fall in love with this product.
The slogan is “Where fashion meets function. No slip, no drip headbands!” Well, they certainly don’t lie! I first came across the Bondi Bands while I was participating in the Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon in October 2011. They were at the trade show with a number of other vendors who all thought their accessories were the best you could buy. The best, I’m not sure. The most expensive, my GAWD you’re not kidding. I consider myself to be on a limited budget. Mostly because I’ve set pretty serious financial goals for myself in 2012 and I aim to achieve them! When I saw the tables covered in these head bands, in tons of colors, tons of sayings, I couldn’t help but be curious.
There was a saying for everyone. I could have looked through their variety of headbands for an hour easy. As one of my girlfriends who had decided to participate in the half marathon is a breast cancer survivor, I was so excited to see they had a variety of different headbands in support of cancer awareness and cancer survivors.
I came across one that I thought was just absolutely perfect .. like I said, if you’re a sweater, you’ll love these .. and after completing a half marathon, I thought this one would be more than appropriate! They were 2 for $15 (I believe) and I couldn’t resist!
My boyfriend didn’t seem to find it as amusing but I loved it. I wore it proudly.
I can honestly say, at no point in time did I have sweat dripping in my eyes during that entire run. I could feel the sweat dripping from my ponytail but not once did I have to worry about my eyes.
I have not gone for a run since without wearing my Bondi Band headband. I live in Florida and even in the “winter” you’re dealing with weather in the mid-70′s. I have also taken my Bondi Band with me on my bike rides. I absolutely love it. To make it even better, they are made in the USA.
I’d love to hear what you think about your Bondi Band! :]
