I went today and had a Brazilian Blowout done on my hair.  I do not have thick hair but it’s a decent length.  It costs $100 an ounce for the product.  First, they wash your hair 4-5 times to strip it of any chemicals or oils.  Next, they put the chemical on your hair just like you were getting it colored.  Then they blow dry your hair.  Followed by flat ironing it.  Once all of that is done, your hair is washed yet again.
