In addition to getting my eyes done, I had the laser resurfacing done on the stretch marks on my stomach. After I had the SmartLipo done on my stomach, I had some crinkling of the skin as seen in the picture below
As you can see, they are pretty bad. The skin looked nasty. I figured, I had invested this much time and money into try to better my body from the years of obesity that I needed to try this one last thing to see if it would help.
The doctor went over the stretch marks twice. Like I’ve said before, she is a perfectionist and she wants her clients to have the best possible results. Here are some progress pictures

The skin is still a little rough and dry. I keep putting cream on it but half way through the day when it starts to get dry, it itches like crazy. I really hope that over the next week it gets significantly better!

It may have been, but the pain and discomfort from my eyes (which were done the same day) distracted from any other pain I may have been experiencing. I even had laser hair removal done that day on my entire bikini area and had no discomfort. Guess my brain could only process so much at one time

No, they’re still there .. they are just thinner and lighter .. the only way to remove stretch marks is cutting them out of the skin.
Did It get better with the itching after day 10? How long did it take to get back to normal?
I don’t remember how long the itching lasted to be honest. I continued to wear my garment and kept the ointment on until all the scanning was gone. There were signs of the procedure on for 4-5 weeks after. Mostly just red skin around the stretch marks.
Ive been there girl on my thighs and stretch marks. I have been doing more microdermabrasion at home, which hase made a tremendous impact and im wee happy. Your transformations have been awesome and Im glad I found your blog. Yey!
Here is some more of my musts and must dos for the at home fine tuning of the skin. I have the http://www.riiviva.com at home microdermabrasion tool. It’s magnificent. It also saves me $250 per session. I do the plum and onion recipe for my acne. I know it sounds different but a girl can never have too many ideas. I do the tooth paste dab for any pimples and of course the cool yogurt facial.

I was looking at http://www.riiviva.com/ … Its very interesting … I have done two chemical peels and laser resurfacing around my eyes … Spent close to if not more than $1,000 already and want to do another peel. I may try this first!
Yey, you definitely should…This is my favorite new gadget and I pre ordered and it’s pretty easy to use. I figure i’ll save about $3,400 a year with it:) Let me know if you decide to order it and how it turns out with your new glow:) Cheers Jenny

Wow great results!!!! =) I know not much too much can be done about the hypo-pigmentation (whiteness of scars & stretch marks but you can barely see any difference between the normal skin & where the stretch marks were, the texture looks beautiful!!! People say use self tanner to cover stretch marks but yeah right unless you have smooth skin, stretch marks will still be noticeable!
Please tell me what laser you had done? I wish I could go to your perfectionist!

Thank you Amanda .. I’m not sure what type of laser they used .. I didn’t do a lot of research before I went to their office (which could have been disastrous) but luckily, they use nothing but the best lasers. My friend is an esthetician and she was concerned when I told her that I was going to be paying $300 to have laser hair removal done on my entire face that I wouldn’t have the best results because they weren’t using the top of the line laser .. she called and confirmed that the laser they were using was in fact the kind I wanted .. after 3 treatments, I have hardly any hair left .. my 4th treatment she just spot treated the areas that still had hair and only charged me $150. Another friend went to another MedSpa and had 6 treatments done at $100 each and she said she saw no results.
The name of the MedSpa that I go to is called BodyWise Specialists. They are located in Indialantic, Florida. They will be more than happy to answer any questions you have about the type of laser they use. It was $600 to have the entire abdomen area done. Their prices are extremely fair! Plus, they are a GREAT group of women .. which always helps
How many laser treatment had you done in this pictures? Do you know if they may have a clinic in california? I’m hate my stretch marks they are still red i just had my baby on January. Thank you so much for your answer.

Have you seen any difference when the sun light hits the stretch marks?
I can see a difference now with a tan when they’re more visible .. they aren’t as big anymore

This is after only one treatment. I can certainly relate. I hate them. I never want to wear a bikini to the beach bc I know people will stare.
Yes, its sad i use to wear bikini s and had a nice body, now looking back i think so, before i did not like my body but now i will kill to have my old body back, when i look at pictures i think how stuped i was, i had a great body. Anyways thank you so much
